The Nobel Snowflake was Wingårdhs proposal for a new Nobel Center, situated on Blasieholmen, Stockholm. More than a hundred architects participated in the competition, where 11 moved on and 3 finalist were chosen to further develop their proposals. Wingårdhs' was one of them.
